These diaries draw upon the emptiness of the Internet. While the Internet is brimming with synthetic sex, love, culture, violence, joy and sorrow I can’t help but be captivated by the emptiness of synthetic life.

Colour and images are important as a vital way to contextualise and understand the world around us , however their importance seems diminished when viewed constantly and synthetically through devices.

I want to regain the importance of colour as a presence which permeates between the polarization of online experience by looking at colour as a singular subject. 20th-century artists used colour to examine human experience, and my work attempts to reflect upon synthetic human experience.
